Facilities

Rattlesden Village Hall is managed by Rattlesden Preschool.

The Hall is available for hire in the evenings, weekends, and during school holidays

Main hall

(14.7m x 7m) Large, simple airy room with natural lighting from sash windows, a high ceiling and lacquered wood floor suitable for dancing and marked out for a badminton court. The room is heated by electric wall-mounted heaters. Two sets of double doors, one of which offers level access suitable for wheelchairs, with entry direct to the forecourt. The small rear garden is for Preschool use only.

Seating capacity: approximately  100
Standing: approximately  120

Meeting room

(4.5m x 5.7m) with tables, chairs and a fully fitted kitchen. Hot water boiler. Crockery and cutlery for approximately 100 people. Heated by suspended electric heaters.

Hiring of furniture

The following are available for hire from the hall:

  • 15 6ft x 2ft fold up tables
  • 30 red upholstered chairs

Other facilities

  • A toilet with disabled access.
  • Gently sloping forecourt which can be used as part of an event eg table-top sale or for barbecue cooking.

 

The Hall holds a PRS licence. The Hall is not licensed for the sale of alcohol. 

Smoking is not allowed inside the building.
